The Glass House

   Former artist and current expert in stained glass, Piper Everleigh returns to Blakely College where her friend, Avery gives a lecture on a beautiful stained-glass window designed by the college's founder to honor his wife, June Blakely. Or so everyone thought until Avery’s reveals unknown details about June’s sister, Clare. The revelations throw shadows of betrayal, lust, and insanity onto the powerful and influential family, so when Avery disappears the next day, Piper immediately suspects a connection to the shocking speech. Although painfully reminded of her own experience with her husband’s mental illness, Piper peels away the layers of secrets and madness that surround the Blakely dynasty, fearing that Avery discovered something so damning that was worth killing for. 

   When Avery’s body turns up in the Hudson River, Piper finds herself plunged into the middle of a murder investigation that leads her in unexpected directions, one of which involves her ex-husband, Neil, who has been a patient in the local asylum for more than a decade. 

   A love triangle from the past revealed in an old diary becomes intertwined with a modern day one, the strands of the tightly plotted mystery being slowly drawn together to create a dramatic ancient tapestry that echoes into the present.
